Spring Gnomes

These colorful sweater hat gnome will make a wonderful addition to your spring home decor. The listing is for one gnome, choose the color you want in the drop down menu.  Each gnome is handmade with care and attention to detail. The body is made of felt, weighted at the bottom and filled with poly-fil. They have a wooden nose and faux fur beard. The tall sweater hat is adorned with a flower and has a wire tucked inside so that the hat position can be changed and posed. He stands approximately 10.5” tall as posed in the pictures and 3” in diameter at the base. This beautiful gnome will look wonderful on your mantle, shelf or table.

The Gnome Shop’s gnomes are hand made at our workshop in Fredericksburg Virginia. Each gnome is a carefully crafted home decor item. We hope that people of all ages will fall in love with our whimsical gnomes, however we want to stress that they are best enjoyed while quietly sitting on a shelf, mantle or table. Our gnomes are not made to withstand the daily love of a child. Small parts such as the nose and embellishments can pose as a choking hazard.

A Swedish gnome or Tomte is a small elf like creature who takes up residence near or under a house. He protects the farmers home, crops and children from misfortune. He has a reputation for being hard working and often mischievous.
